2026 UN Chinese Language Day Event

UN Chinese Language Day is celebrated annually on April 20th to promote cultural diversity and multilingualism, honoring Cangjie, the legendary inventor of Chinese characters. Established by the UN in 2010, the date coincides with "Guyu" (Grain Rain), marking Chinese as one of the 6 official languages since 1946.
