Conferral Ceremony - Honorary Doctorate to the United Nations

The universities KU Leuven and UC Louvain will jointly award an honorary doctorate to the United Nations. The Secretary-General will receive the honorary doctorate on behalf of the organization and, in his remarks, he will pay tribute to the work, sacrifices, dedication and commitment of the thousands of women and men working for the UN around the world to serve and support people in some of the most difficult and dangerous places on earth.
