Cities on the Frontlines: Local Solutions Driving Action - SDG Media Zone, 80th Session of the UN General Assembly

Cities and regions are on the front lines of the climate crisis, exposed to increasing extremes such as heatwaves, flooding, storms and droughts. This session will focus on the role of cities and regions in addressing the impacts of climate change, the challenges and benefits of local initiatives, and the opportunities to scale up local solutions to global action.
